Linear Dialogue

Many things that surround us are all made up of straight lines that create the space and our perspectives. That is the inspiration behind the last but first solo exhibition of the Korean artist Jeongmoon Choi in Paris. Using simple coloured threads and traces in creating three-dimensional volumes and illusions, she redefines and changes our architectural and perspectival vision. Drawing directly into space with her hand, the artist creates the trompe l'oeil interior and exterior spaces for living and our environment. Her conception of this linear dialogue certainly has a nightclubbing feel but with a underlying mathematical, physical and environmental message. If you are linearly challenged, maybe it is worth to check out this impressive exhibition before January 26th, 2013.
