God(s)

The word GOD probably means different things to different people. For spiritual believers, the word certainly plays a significant part in their lives. Now here is an exhibition entitled "Dieu(x), Modes d'emploi (God(s), the Instruction Manual)" in the Parisian museum Le Petit Palais, that aims to help us understand different religions, beliefs and their associated Gods (yes, some religions have more than one). One hundred and sixty borrowed oeuvres were presented, along with films, videos, photos, sketches and other mediums to illustrate several main religions from around the world. France is a Catholic but secular country where the Government and the Church are separated, that is, everyone is treated equally regardless of his or her religion since 1905 but the subject has been a controversy in the last couple of years once again and this is definitely a showcase that can help us all to understand others better and to avoid further misunderstanding. Even if you are not religious, this is definitely a divine exhibition to see before February 3rd, 2013.
