The American Presidential Election is only two weeks away from today and here in France, we are also following it as closely as everyone else does. If you are a big Obama fan, a gallery in the City of Light that is currently dedicating artworks entitled "Obama's America: Mille Visages de l'Amérique (1000 faces of America)." Photographs, paintings, sculptures, installations all come together to show the diverse and complex faces of Americans today in 2012. The representation of the "American Dream" at this exhibition are interpreted by both American and French artists which gives a more objective perspective to one of the most powerful countries in the world. If you are an American living in Paris, maybe this exhibition might help you to make the right choice for your next president. You have time even after the election to admire some of the work before November 10th, 2012.
