Our blog normally only features exhibitions, events and our new collection and activities that are happening, had happened or will happen in Paris, hence the notion of "made in PARIS" because we want to share with people around the globe who are in love with the City of Light and with Art, but might not have the possibility to come and visit just yet or maybe have finally made it here or perhaps on their way. There are definitely more than enough exhibitions in our city that will just blow your mind. However, we are making an exception today for this beautiful exhibition entitled "L'Art d'aimer, de la séduction à la volupté (The Art of Loving, of the Seduction to the Intense pleasure)" that is currently taking place at the Palais Lumière (Light Palace) at this city called Evian (yes, the same name as the famous international water giant and it is where their headquarter is!) which is near the French/Swiss borders (see its exact location here). The exhibition traces back the evolution of enamored feeling through different cultural artistic expressions such as paintings, illustrations, cinema, photographies, etc. The diverse interpretation of LoVE by artists such as painter Pablo Picasso, photographers Pierre & Gilles, and film director Wong Kar-wai, all share the common belief - LOVE. So if you are looking for love, feeling the love, embracing your love, this would be a cool exhibition to take that trip out of the City of Light and maybe check out the world renown Evian Water HQ at the same time before September 23rd, 2012.
