If you love festivals and movies... AND Paris, now is definite the time to be in the City of Light for the next two weeks! Yes, the Paris Cinema Festival is celebrating its 10th year this year with the guest of honor the Hong Kong Cinema. Tonight, the celebration will be hosted by this year's president, the famous French-English actor Charlotte Rampling, and with the appearance of the renown Hong Kong director Johnnie To. There will be more than 80 films showing at the Parisian Forum des Images in central Paris les Halles starting today. What's great about this festival is that it's a rare chance for the movie-lovers and goers to see films from around the world. There are also 8 films in competition: A Simple Life (from Hong Kong), Beyond the hill (from Greece), Historias (from Brazil), Just the wind (from Hungary/Germany/France), The King of pigs (from South Korea), Our homeland (from Japan), Rebelle (from Canada), Tabou (from Portugal/Germany/Brazil/France). You can also check out their official site here. So hurry, this will only last until July 10th, 2012. See you all at the projections!
