You probably think that we have forgotten about the big day today - Valentine's Day, right? Of course NOT! We actually got a treat for you! In French, we call today Le Saint Valentin (without the "e" at the end) which also happens to be the name of a small village in central France not far from big cities like Bourges and Châteauroux (click here to see its exact location). It actually is pretty famous worldwide already because it is also called le village de l'amour (love village) which started back in 1965. Today even many Japanese had gone and got their certificate from the town mayor (who has been around for 29 years!) Pretty cool, huh? If you are also interested to get a souvenir from this cute town, you can check out their website here to find out more about their events (sorry that the site is only in French and in Japanese for now...)
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
