The famous French humorist cartoonist Jean-Jacques Sempé has been making people of all the generations laugh with his humorous drawings for over 25 years now. Paris City Hall (l'Hôtel de Ville) is currently honoring the artist with his first retrospective entitled "Sempé, un peu de Paris et d'ailleurs (Sempé, a bit of Paris and Elsewhere)", the illustrator of the comic books and movie Little Nicholas (Le Petit Nicolas in French) showcasing over 300 of his original sketches along with his texts showing his personal views on many subjects in life that touch all of us. If you are a lover of Paris and comic books, this is a great and free exhibition to get your full dose until February 11th, 2012.
