Designer Trees

Designer Christmas Trees (Les Sapins de Noël des Créateurs in French) is a tradition in the fashion industry here in Paris that was created 16 years ago by the French journalist/producer Marie-Christiane Marek in celebration of Christmas and fashion where each designer will create an artwork that represents the Christmas Tree.  Their creations are then auctioned off to prestigious guests to raise money and donate to charity groups. This year, 80000 euros were raised during the event followed by a dinner at the private house Salomon de Rotschild and all the proceeds went to the A.V.E.C association for the research against cancer.  You can check out the official website here to see some of the beautiful trees in the previous years.  To show our participation, we have also created this CLIFFMAS tree above to show our gratitude to OUR LOYAL READERS for your continuous support.  Thank you and wish everyone a wonderful up-and-coming holidays!
