Comic Boucq

When people talk about France, words like comic book are unlikely to be the first words that come to mind.  Believe it or not, if you ask any French, he or she is likely to be a comic book fan or even one of those comic book collectors! The gallery Petits Papiers recently hosted an exhibition that just ended a few days ago on one of the famous French comic book artists François Boucq, became known with his Les Pionniers de l'Aventure Humaine (The Pionners of the Human Adventure), with his XIII Mystery series and it was quite a treat to have the man himself presented at the gallery at the opening night.  If you are a big comic book fan, you can check out the gallery site here or in person at
