Drugs have been in use for thousands of years. Mushrooms and many plantes can be dated back as far as 5000 BC. What fascinate many drug users are their physiological and psychological effects that may enhance and free some of their minds and bodies. "Sous influences (Under influences in French)" is the latest exhibition from La Maison Rouge to take a closer look at the relationship between the visual arts and the psychotropic products. Artists are constantly in search of inspiration and stimulations to their creativity and many cannot seem to resist the temptation of what these drugs can offer them. Unfortunately, some become dependent and can only create with the enhancement of their drugs. An educational exhibition not to be missed before May 19th, 2013 especially for adults and children who are curious about the drugs or have become addicted to them.
