Legendary French jewelry house of Van Cleef & Arpels, is currently showcasing four hundreds of its most famous masterpieces that brought them to fame since 1906 at the Art Décoratifs museum of Paris. These prestigious pieces are being shown, alongside with documentation and drawings, the incredible savoir-faire and technical inventions that were handed down from generation to generation. Aside from their secret techniques, their signature styles are no secret to the world - flora, fauna and abstract motifs. Their most recognizable image is still epitomized by the famous 'Zip' necklace, inspired by the Duchess of Windsor in 1951. Even after a hundred of glories, the house of Van Cleef & Arpels continues to impress the jewelry world including their Alhambra necklaces even after forty years since its creation in the 70s. Beginning of the year 2000, their creation expanded in L'Atlantide in 2007; Les Voyages Extraordinaires in 2010; Bals de Légende in 2011 and Le Palais de la Chance in 2012. This is definitely an exhibition not to be missed before February 10th, 2013 for the lovers of precious stones.
