Fashion has been part of our French and European histories for over two centuries now and it has definitely influenced our society in many ways during the last two hundred years. The exhibition "Fashioning Fashion," after Los Angeles and Berlin, is now coming to the City of Light starting December 13th, 2012. Acquired from Martin Kamer and Wolfgang Ruf of the Los Angeles LACMA, this exhibition glorifies over one hundred men's and women's silhouettes and accessories, essentially from France, Italy and United Kingdom and summaries the successive fashion trends from the 18th and 19th centuries. The various sewing techniques used by different costume periods are also revealed and traced back their origines and the usage. A truly amazing retrospective fashion history comes to life that is not to be misssed before April 14th, 2013.
