"Le Mois de la Photo (Month of Photography)" movement was born in 1980 and has since contributed to the making of Paris one of the great capitals of photography. Held in November every two years, it brings together many cultural institutions and galleries offering some of the latest photographic creativities. This year the themes are: Small is Beautiful, Magical Realities and French and French-speaking Photographers from 1955 to the present. Over 80 exhibitions with screenings and debates, this edition offers a wide range of unusual images captured by diverse artists around the planet. The movement is also in Berlin, Brastislava, Luxembourg, Moscou, Rome and Vienna this year.
