Electric World

Electricity, one of the life essentials for us today, has becomes just as important as water to keep us going, in a certain way. With the recent power outage caused by the Hurricane Sandy in New York, we witnessed how dependent we are on electricity in our daily lives. The French Electricity company EDF Foundation is currently looking into the fascination of this source of power in history. Not only did it help simplifying the lives of many homemakers in the last century, but also inspired the medical and artistic worlds in creating machines and methods to heal our kind. In less than deux centuries, electricity has changed our world in so many ways that we also start to take it for granted. The exhibition, entitled "Mondes Electriques," showcases photographs and films to prove its universal influence. If you are an electric-addict, you have it until March 13th, 2013 to check out the source!
