Dalí's World

Earlier this year we presented to you the Dalí Space in Paris with original paintings given to his old friend Enrique Sabater (see that post here). And now he is back even bigger than ever at the famous Centre Pompidou museum. This is a homage to Dalí with more than 200 master pieces to show that he is not just a painter but a talented sculptor. Not only that, Salvador was also a performance pioneer  who loved to be on the centre stage. Several famous pieces such as "The Great Masturbator (1929)", "The Persistence of Memory (1931)", "Lobster Telephone (1936)", "Retrospective Bust of a Woman (1933)", etc. are all present at this exhibition. To help you right into the world of Dalí, the exhibition staged a giant egg with photos of Dalí in the fetus position. This sure is a funky and surrealist world that is totally worth checking out before March 25th, 2013
