Even though we ze French might be speaking a funky English twang, we definitely had given the electronic and house music a French touch since the early 90s with pioneers such as Eric Morand and Laurent Garnier then came Air, Daft Punk, Cassius before the DJ David Guetta takes the French touch in another direction in the last few years. What makes us unique is the combination of music and graphic design art in the music video, which had never been done before in America. There is currently an exhibition designed by the 1024 collective entitled "French Touch. Graphisme / Video / Electro" at the museum Les Arts Décoratifs, featuring over several hundreds of flyers, disks and videos to demonstrate the perfect and extraordinary synergy between music and graphic design under the French influence. If you are a fan, you have it until March 31st, 2013, to check them all out. Vive ze French Touch!
