Home is our comfort zone and home decoration and trends have also become as popular as fashion in the last decade. The famous biannual French interior design trade show MAISON ET OBJET (Home and Object) for Fall/Winter 2012/13 just started last Friday for five days in the North of City of Light called Villepinte. We've explored the show over the weekend and share with you the latest trend in the world of decorative art here in Paris. The theme of this edition is on the "essentiels," that is, the essence of life. The word "minimalist" has been read and heard many times for a while now in fashion as well and that has also been influencing the interior design to give our space a clean and timeless serenity away from the noisy and crowded world we are all battling everyday in the cars, subways or on the streets. In addition, the innovative technologies continue in providing us more comfort and an optimistic vision of the future while maximizing our senses and sensations. If you are interested to see what's out there, you have it until September 11th, 2012, to check out this gigantic fair.
