Flea market is a big tradition here in the City of Light. And it is now popular than ever these days with the ecological conscious, economic crisis and the DIY trends. Two of the most well known flea markets in the North of Paris are Serpette and Paul Bert, which are part of the big St Ouen flea markets, are currently hosting an interesting event called "7 parcours capitaux (7 capital routes - a French word game to quote 7 péchés capitaux (7 deadly sins) here )" where visitors can enjoy a more personalized and guided tour. This event also has the participation of celebrities such as the French designer and architect Philippe Starck and the fashion designer Vanessa Bruno. So if you are a big fan of antiques or retro objects, hurry, the tour will only last until September 24th, 2012, but for those of you who might be coming later in the year to visit our city, the flea markets are open all year around for you to discover.
