The Mayan Masks

So much have said about the Mayan's prediction for the end of the world on December 21, 2012. So what do we really know about the pre-Columbian/Meso-American cultures who made these horrifying predictions thousands of years ago?  Probably not much. This is a rare chance to discover the Mayan and their unusual and outstanding masks made of jade mosaic. The fifteen masks found by the archeologists so far are all agreed by Mexico and being displaced at the Pinacothèque in Paris for the very first time. These masks were found in the burial chambers of the Mayan elites and they represent divinities from the Mayan pantheon, a combination of human, vegetal and animal features. If you want to know more about this millennial culture, you still have a month to find out before June 10th, 2012.
