The Parisian famous contemporary art museum Palais de Tokyo, after a pre-reopening celebration (see our previous post here), is finally now open once again to the public with its Triennale entitled "Intense Proximité" combining visual art, ethnography, anthropology, cinema, literature, music and performance that explores the connections between artistic practice and the cultural writings throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. This triennale collaborates with seven other institutions in Paris and in the surrounding regions such as Bétonsalon and Ivry, with artworks by March Allégret, Marcel Griaule, Pierre Verger, Peter Buggerhout, Walker Evans and Claude Lévi-Strauss and many others, in the emphasis of the synchronization points of convergence among the participating artists. If you are intrigued or have never been to the Palais de Tokyo, this is a perfect chance to (re)discover before August 26th, 2012.
