a RICARD?

Many consumer goods such as Coca Cola from the last century had practically become a cultural phenomenon in the society we live in today. Here in France, one of such goods is the famous alcohol Ricard, founded in 1932 by Monsieur Paul Ricard who passed away fairly recently in 1997. What's extraordinary about Ricard is his communication vision with catchy slogans and bright colors to make the brand pop and unforgettable. Phrases such as "Garçon, a Ricard! (Waiter, a Ricard!)" in 1939 or "Un Ricard, sinon rien (A Ricard or else)" in 1984 and numerous objects like the ashtray, the lighter, the song, the sport, the design, the contemporary art, all contributed to the success of its branding since the beginning of this brand. Now the Arts Décoratifs is showing you the 80 glorious years of this bright enterprise under one exhibition. If you are a fan, you have it until August 26th, 2012, to check it out!
