Paris' most famous contemporary art museum Le Palais de Tokyo was closed for almost 10 months for a face lift and is scheduled to reopen soon on April 20th, 2012. For those of you who are not familiar with it, no, it is not a museum dedicated to the contemporary Japanese art. The name derives from the street called Avenue de Tokio (from 1918 to 1945 only) and is called Avenue du Président Wilson today where the museum is and has been located since 1937. To celebrate the newly renovated Palais, the museum decided to create an "in-between opening house (Portes Entrouvertes)" days today April 12th and tomorrow between noon and 8:00 pm (Friday night till midnight). There will be concerts, conferences, shows, to allow everyone and anyone to come and discover the newly transformed space for free. A cool great Spring fun nights NOT to be missed! See you at the party!
