SPAIN between two centuries

Most Spanish painters, to most of us, are relatively unknown except Picasso, Miro, Goya and Dali. The Parisian musem L'Orangerie has been revealing two centuries worth of great Spanish painters such as Zuloaga, Sorolla, Casas, Camarasa or Rusinol during these past few months to the public with over 60 amazing paintings.  Many of these artists had lived and showcased in Paris back in the days at famous galleries with their original, rich and diverse styles, over different artistic era of that time.  The exhibition also revealed the dark side of "Espagne blanche (White Spain)" and "Espagne Noire (Dark Spain)" of those centuries. If you have not had the chance to check them out, you still have a few days left until January 9th to admire these masterpieces up close.  So hurry up!
