Memories of the future

me collectors room, contemporary art created in 2009 by a real Berlin doctor Thomas Olbricht, one of Germany's most important collections of over 2500 pieces, is now in exhibition for the first time in France.  One of the most striking part of this exhibition is the reconstruction of the Kunst und Wunderkammer (remember that we have already mentioned the German word in one of our previous posts on cabinet of curiosities ?), an attempt to bring the world of art, nature and science all together.  You will get to see as well works from 16th century such as engravings of Albrecht Dürer, of Martin Schongauer or of Francisco de Goya to our days such as the Chapman brothers, Cindy Sherman or Vic Muniz.  If you have a curious mind, you have 10 days left to discover the fantasy world in this beautiful place La Maison Rouge (the Red House).
