Videos have been used more and more in the contemporary world of art as a form to express an emotion or an expression that is perhaps easier for viewers to relate to rather than a simple painting with a title. Any Ever, expanded universe where your consent of the codes of the real world and the rules of language is the only way that will allow you to enter and to comprehend. This first major exhibition in Paris by American artists Ryan Trecartin and Lizzie Fitch, designed these protean environments that involve viewers in an endlessly cut-and-paste process in ambiguous narratives. Through the video media and installations, this new form of connective creativity is their invention that has been blowing consumer culture and intergenerational relations to absurd proportions. And not only that, we believe that it also shows just how fast our society is moving today and the constant imagery bombardment in our daily lives.
