François-Auguste-René Rodin was probably better known as the sculptor but for the first time, the French museum Musée Rodin is ready to show the world that he, like Cocteau, Lynch and many others today, was also a man who could draw. The museum, currently exhbiting over 300 of Rodin's drawings from 1890 - 1917, aims to reconnect with the richness and the breadth of his other exhibitions and at the same time, allow the public to discover this lesser-known aspect of Rodin's drawing talent. If you are interested, the museum also has lecture visits every Sunday at 3:00 pm and the seminars on March 8th and 9th, 2012. The exhibition, entitled "La Saisie du Modèle (Capturing the Model)," will run through April 1st, 2012. You can purchase your tickets online here.
