Yesterday concluded the 4-day marathon of the 15th edition of the Creations Savoir-Faire (Creative know-how Workshops) trade show in Paris. DIY (Do It Yourself) has become a trend in the last few years due to the global economic situation where people no longer have the means to pay clothes and objects that they would like to have and it is also a way to go against the globalization monopolized by giant financial corporations. The trade show also has workshops for kids and adults to learn how to knit, to decorate, to draw, to frame, to do scrapbooks, to patchwork, to sew, to embroider and even to create your own accessories! It was held at the popular convention centre Porte de Versailles in the Left Bank of Paris where many trade shows are usually held. If you missed it, don't worry, there will always be next year for you to come and join us and see what everyone else is working on; and if you think you have some creative know-how and would like to share it with everyone, you can register on their website here. We hope to see you all there next year so start DIY and explore your own creativity!
