Video GAMES have become an international social and cultural phenomenon in the last 30 years and today, almost all the kids have already played at least once or own some kind of games at home. First appeared in the 70s, video games were only created for young kids as a virtual toy but have now become a major cultural industry that many of us can no longer dissociate in our daily lives. They are no longer played in their own boxes and can easily be found on our mobile phones, computers and even on some watches. The museum Grand Palais, in collaboration with the National Museum of Asian Arts Guimet, as well as to celebrate the reopening of the new exhibition hall of Grand Palais' south-east wing, is currently hosting an exhibition entitled GAME STORY: a video game story. If you think that you are ready to play a game in public and learn more about it, you have the chance until January 9th, 2012. You can purchase your ticket online here.

Batman Arkham City is one of the most popular games these days
Skylanders is another one but mostly for much younger kids
We found this interesting old fashion video game by Teague labs which is a homemade video in a box. A little old fashioned compares to the ones we see today but it's amazing to see how far we have come in such a short time in video games industry.
