Jean Maurice Eugène Clément Cocteau was perhaps best known as a sketch designer with his pencil drawings of male beauties. Cocteau was also known as a poet, a novelist, dramatist, playwright and filmmaker with a famous circle of friends, lovers and associates such as Pablo Picasso, Jean Marais, Marlene Dietrich, Coco Chanel, Raymond Radiguet, Edith Piaf and many many more. We recently discovered that Cocteau was also a ceramics maker which proved that he was indeed a man of many talents! Paris gallery Estades is currently exhibiting his ceramics and drawings until December 31, 2012. So if you are also multi-talented, why not check out just how good he was?
