Ugly Betty?

Last week we talked about those power BLOGssip Girls and we promised you to look at each one of them, one a day.  Today we are looking at another of our favourites - Miss Betty - the punk French brunette who certainly is no Ugly Betty like the popular American series!  She has that Vanessa Abrams from Gossip Girl feel coz it's like she is showing how "independent" and "unique" on her photos.  However, our Betty sure is way smarter than Vanessa coz she has been climbing up the stylish ranking chart since 2008 with her Le Blog de Betty showing us her weekly new looks.  Let's look at some of her styles and see if you also agree with us here:

This red skinny trouser, paired with the short boots and a devoured black sweater all spiced up with a red school bag look gives Betty that confident, soft punk rock chick style that looks good for all occasions.

Don't be fooled by the simple beige T coz there is a pair of  leather trousers that continues to secure Betty the confident rock chick style.  It's cute but probably not one of our favourites.

This is punk rock meets couture.  Those pointy shoulder leather blazers and the ostrich feather skirt do make Betty less tough and more girly but ultimately, it doesn't speak Betty to us.

This is more of the Betty we know - skinny jeans, sweater top, a pair of boots and voilà! Easy, stylish and dans l'air du temps as we say in French!

Again we were surprised to see this more girly feminine look from Betty.  Country girl style with that oversized shirt and a cute floral skirt but Betty never forgets that punk soul of hers with a pair of red booty heels. Très Mignonne Betty!
