Vintage has become such a fashion trend and in our everyday vocabulary that several trade shows have been devoted to this social phenomenon in the last decade or so. Here in our world's fashion capital where new fashion is born every 6 months (Paris Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2013 is starting TODAY!), vintage has also become a big source of inspirations to many designers as well. To celebrate the 10th year of the Parisian Salon du Vintage (Vintage trade show - see our article on last year's event here), this year will be in the artsy district of the Marais starting this Friday for three whole days at the popular centre l'Espace d'animation des Blancs Manteaux. The theme for the edition focuses on our French heritage of the haute couture (which is what we specialize in) where you will find rare pieces from Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, etc as well as perfume of Jacques Fath or Robert Piguet. If you are fashion addict and a vintage fanatic, you definitely will not want to miss this opportunity starting at 2:00 pm this Friday September 28th, until Sunday, September 30th, 2012.
