Monographic Marc

Many contemporary paintings tend to puzzle us and make us wonder what the artists are trying to say behind those lines and colours. But that is not that case with the French painter Monsieur Marc Desgrandchamps. What sets this artist apart from many others is his monograph that allows us easily to construct the stories and to enter his imaginary and real worlds. Juxtaposition and overlapping transparency and opaqueness, a mixture of   delicately placed dripping fluid colors, his style is certainly recognizable especially often with a protagonist in a precise scenery. The Art Modern Museum of Paris devoted in 2011 a retrospective to this singular artist who has been making the world art scene dreams and fantasizes beyond since the early 80s. If you are looking for a new inspirational story, you should definitely check him out.
