Paris in 2020 sounds so far away but if you think about it, that is only less than eight years away from today. With the constant increase of the populated world cities such as Paris, London and New York, the City of Lights has already created a museum center for urban planning and documentation in 1988. It's a place where you can see how the City of Paris has evolved over the years with different urbanization projects and it sure is a place where tourists and even Parisians can see how different the city was back in the days. The centre was closed for renovation and has reopened its door less than 4 months ago and now has an AMAZING permanent collection entitled PARIS, LA METROPOLE ET SES PROJETS (in case you didn't get that in French, it means Paris, the City in the Making) where the latest technology was combined to give a whole new experience to see documentations, photos, cards, maps, movies, etc with the touch screen technologies that we are all so accustomed to today. If you are looking for a newest cultural experience when you come for a visit, this is definitely an insider's place where you definitely won't find in your guide book!
