gallicALLY YOURS

We the French are known as the Gaulois (French for Gauls) but very few people know about the fact that the advanced Gaulish civilization are just as good as its Greek and Roman neighbours.  The Parisian science world Cité des sciences et de l'industrie is now showcasing an exhibition to show you just how in 5 stages: (1) 2000 years of imagining the Gauls; (2) From the dig to the labs; (3) From the dig to the museum; (4) Unsettled outlook for Central Gaul; (5) A farewell to myths? Unlike many ordinary exhibitions, here you will be allowed to "touch" and to "dig" the history by playing with the sandboxes and flip cards to bring you back to that period and to experience how Gallic people used to live. It sure is an exhibition "renversante (French term for knocking you upside down)" until September 2nd, 2012.  A great place and very educational to spend your weekend with your children.
