Quantic Design

Modern furniture design has also been catching up here in Paris in the last few years especially among the young generation.  The design duo Jérémie Lopez and Gérald Perrin, are the new stars in this domain who have a new approach: Combing the past with the present with their brand Kwantiq from the word "quantic."

For those of you who are not familiar with the term, according to the Oxford American dictionary: a homogeneous function of two or more variables having rational and irrational coefficients.  And according to the two designers, they simply like science and the idea of combing it with art with the use of noble and of unexpected materials to create something very streamlines.  Aside from creating, they also repair furniture and any woodwork related fabrication as well as for special events.  It is interesting to see that the design has indeed no boundary, whether it's in fashion, in contemporary art and also in furniture design and they all seem to come together more and more today as we are creating this next century.

Here are some of their cool creations
