Can ART be Chic? This was confirmed and concluded last Monday at the 2011 Edition of the CHIC ART FAIR at the newest fashion space la Cité de la Mode et du Design (photo), located at 34 Quai d'Austerlitz, 75013 PARIS.

This is a fair that aims to unite between Paris' Left and Right Banks, between two ways of expressing contemporary art, contemporary creation and design. It also hopes to create dialogues between art from different generations and to discover new talents of the future. 65 galleries, mostly from Paris and some from London, Milan , Brussels and Vienna, were all present at this year's fair. CHIC offers an unique expression of the current world with a different viewpoint from other fair such as the fiac! on contemporary creation. If you happened to miss it, don't worry, it will be back in 2012 around the same time so mark it down on your calendar now!
