Carine Roitfeld, the former French VOGUE editor-in-chief, has collaborated with New York's ultra chic department store Barneys New York, in creating their fall women's campaign entitled "Carine's World" that feathers her daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, her son Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, famous stylist Marie-Amelie Sauve, supermodel Natasha Poly and many others. Shot by the world renowned Italian stylist/photographer/editor Mario Sorrenti, the photos are scheduled to be featured in Barney's fall windows during fashion week starting September. We have to say that we were a little disappointed by the campaign because we would've expected something a little more "daring" from the Parisienne Queen of style Carine when it comes to campaigns but we guess that this is New York so it's gotta be a lot more commercial driven, rather than artistic spirited Paris.
