ART Paris

Sorry that we have been busy with our work lately and that's why we haven't been updating our blog for a few weeks.  Hope you guys are all well during those weeks.  This morning marks the 4-day contemporary art marathon in Paris and for those of you who can't make it for this edition, we are sharing with you some of the cool things we found this morning.  If you need additional information, feel free to give us a shout:

ART PARIS www.artparis.fr at the Grand Palais this morning

Shallow hall with many naked bodies surrounding - looks like hell...

This is a staircase in a huge wooden box that leads to nowhere - to heaven?

This vase is entirely carved out of wood in curves, amazing work.

This is a painting entirely done with pins of white, red and black colours.

This is what it looks like when you step back.  Isn't it amazing?

This is a gothic style church entirely done with oxidized metals.  Looks like lace.

Human size gun.  Wonder who would buy this type of art for home decoration.  Funny how we see quite a few guns done by different artists this edition.

We first thought "Why is that boy sitting there?  Tired?"  It was actually a sculpture!

This might be an interesting candies holder?

This looks like a regular painting from a distance, right?

This is what it looks like up close
This is a holographic painting.  It's not 4 different paintings, just one but when you walk around it, the image starts to walk with you.  Pretty cool.

I think Cinderella's got some serious competitions at this art fair...

LOVE is everywhere!

This is another optical illusion art.  When you look at it from the right side, you see orange; when you look at it from the left side, you see purple; when you look at it in the middle, you see patterns.

Photos printed on transparent plexiglass.  Very cool effect.

Neo coloured Louis IXV?  Very PoP.

We bumped into a walking art...

Extra large Legos..

Looking for a place to crash tonight?

Cockroaches dress anyone?
Soccer is the new religion and the Apple store is our new Church..

Optical illusion depths.  They are only shallow frames....
You probably don't expect what this painting is made of?  Wanna guess?
It's actually made of whole bunch of thread bobbins of different colours!
